The MacGregor Area Community Development Corporation (MACDC) was founded in 1992 as a not-for-profit community improvement organization with the mission of preserving and enhancing the livability of the Riverside District.  Teaming with private and public partners, the MACDC achieves its mission by spearheading positive change and improvements in the district.

The organization's efforts are managed by a Board of Directors composed of long-time residents of the Riverside District, a highly experienced real estate development consultant who specializes in inner-loop revitalization, and supporting staff.
