Arts, Entertainment Dining

The old adage "location, location, location" in real estate holds true... and the Riverside District proves it.

Seeking a small, family establishment for dinner with the kids? A relaxing dinner with friends and a bottle of wine, or a five-star, six-course meal with professional associates? Craving award-wining Vietnamese, Italian, Cajun, seafood, steak or comfort food? With several hundred restaurants in close proximity, homeowners in the Riverside District have a world of choices at their fingertips.

Cultural opportunities?  Houston’s downtown theatre district is second only to Manhattan in number of venue seats. The theatre district is home to Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, and other performing arts organizations. The Worthan Theater, Jones Hall, Contemporary Theater for the Performing Arts, the Alley Theater, the Ensemble Theater and several smaller theater venues are all a stone's throw from Riverside District. If you should desire a night on the town... a night at the theater... or a matinee at the ballet, it's your choice if you live in Riverside.

And then there's Houston's Museum District: an association of museums, galleries, cultural centers and community organizations sitting just walking distance from the Riverside District. The Museum District is comprised of 18+ museums including the Children's Museum, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Museum of Fine Arts, Holocaust Museum, and the Contemporary Arts Museum to name only a few. A day at the museum in our city could easily turn to several weeks, and it is all literally only moments away.
